More from the CSUN class

Character Design Class (Fall 2011) PART 1

From my animation drawing for character design class at Northridge taught by the amazing Ernie Gilbert. I never minded having to stay until 10 pm for that class.

Beginning Maya (Fall 2011)

Object Animation: Bread

Robot flash project (Spring 2011)

Here's a group project I worked on for my animation 2A flash class at CSUN. The prompt was that character A drops something, character B picks it up, character A wants it back. We decided to make it about a robot's arm falling off. We received a faculty award from Steven Theis, who taught the class.

I did the character designs and flash rigging (except the arms, which we did traditionally), as well as the interior backgrounds and color cards. (The scenes I animated are listed below.)

Scenes I animated:
9. Robot asks for arm as little robot rolls away
11. Big robot stretches arm to grab little robot
12. Pulls little robot in, whips off arm
13. Little robot on ground, rubbing his head
14. Big robot clicks his arm back in, says "huh?'
19. Arm falls to ground, little robot says "yay"

BONUS:
For some reason, we had to make this in that class:

(I'm in the ending)

Hey Mr. Foster (2010)

Cinco Paul had me animate a short music video as an anniversary/Christmas present in 2010. Song written and performed by him, animated by me in Toon Boom Studio.

Animation I (2010)

These were the animations made in my Animation I class at CSUN. I think that must have been fall 2010? Probably.

Ball bounce.

Cartoon ball bounce.

Acting object double take. I chose a cassette tape.

Walk Cycle.

Weight lifting force exercise. Made in Flash.

Magic Pencil (2009)

A short animation from my Agoura High School animation class back in 2009. Made using Toon Boom Studio.

So I'm blogging now, I guess.

Hey there. This is my blog for my art / animation stuff, where I'll try to put up my old and current art / animation projects and doodles from time to time. So, yeah... look around or whatever.
